Emergency meetings about evacuation routes along Russian River

EVACUATION POTENTIAL —Old Cazadero Road between Guerneville and Cazadero has been closed for many years owing to a failed culvert on East Austin Creek. Fire and emergency service providers were asked last year about making the road usable again for evacuations in case of a wildfire disaster. Take Action – Low Flow

I wanted to call your attention to the two upcoming deadlines on Low Flow in the Russian River: The first is November 22, 2016 when the state requires protest letters to be received no later than 4:30 pm. (see sample letter below). The second is a response to the EIR (Environmental Impact Review) on Feb. 14, 2017. Both protest letters need to be submitted in order to have your voice heard.
